Im new, where do I start?

  • New clients must create an account with GymMaster. You can do this through our website or through the GymMaster App (free to download from the App Store). You will use the GymMaster system for all bookings, purchases and account management.
  • If you get stuck, please reach out:

What do I need to bring?

  • Wear comfortable activewear that you can move easily in. Grip socks are mandatory for all classes for safety and hygiene.
  • Grip socks are available to purchase in the studio for $23 each.
  • Make sure you bring a water bottle and a sweat towel.
  • If you are attending our Step Circuit Class we wear trainers for this class.

What facilities are available at the studio?

  • We have two toilet facilities that you can also use to get changed in if required.
  • We do not have any
    shower facilities.
  • You will find free parking along the beach front on Marine Parade or you may use the free 2hr
    limit underground car parking facility on Warner St, or along Griffith Street.

What do I do before my first class?

  • Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first class so you can meet your instructor, discuss any specific requirements or injuries and have a tour of the studio.
  • Your instructor will also give you a quick run down of the equipment used in your class.

How old do I have to be to attend a class?
You must be at least 16 years of age to attend classes at our studio.

I have an injury, can I still attend classes?

  • Please ensure you have medical clearance to attend pilates classes if you are injured.
  • Our skilled instructors are trained to modify exercises for people with specific requirements or common injuries so
    you are still welcome to attend classes.
  • Make sure you listen to your body and let your instructor know if
    something doesn’t feel quite right.

I am pregnant, can I still attend classes?

  • We are more than happy to accommodate pregnant clients in all classes unless you are
    experiencing complications in your pregnancy.
  • If you are new to Reformer pilates, we highly recommend
    starting with private sessions in order to learn the modifications required for pregnancy.
  • All pregnant
    clients must provide written clearance from your doctor, women’s health physio or OBGYN to participate
    in reformer pilates classes.
  • We do also offer a Mums and Bubs class tailored for pregnant and postnatal mummas. This class is on every Monday and Thursday at 10:15am.

Do I need to book in before coming to a class?

  • Yes, bookings are essential. Bookings can be made through GymMaster.
